What people do for a prolonged period of time has a direct affect on how their hands look, this is why all hand models in our library are named according to their occupation or other activity.
We take great care in scanning our models while maintaining strict standards to ensure quality. All captured and processed data is correctly calibrated and scaled using standard industry practices as well as our own. All accessories, jewellery and hair are removed or covered to reveal a natural look. The model’s true age, height, weight and other details are recorded and displayed here for your convenience.
Hand Scan products have a set of 62 poses specifically designed by us to cover a full range of human hand motion and is performed by all our models. These scans have technical and, in some cases, artistic nature. But in general, they are designed for sculpting, animation and AI/ML research aimed to study human hand form. Hand Scan products include 5 million triangles mesh in the *.obj format and a Linear Color texture of 8192x8192 pixels in the *.tif format.
