In this post we will give you a short guide into how you can easily find the right model for you. We’ve spent a lot of time designing the store and tools in it to make them intuitive and easy to use. But even then, its still complex and will help to explain in detail how it works.

We offer many different product categories accessible from the top menu. The image below shows the "Browse" menu item, through which you can access all the products in our library. The other two options on the left provide quick access to the same selection but specifically for either Women or Men from our library.

Even though the main search options for each category are the same, there are unique options within each category. We will cover them all by going through each category in this post.

Faces (FACS) Product Category

Here is where you can find all the face models. If you click on them, you will be directed to the page shown in the image below. On this page, you will see a grid of models in the center and search filters on the left. A thin grey bar above the grid displays the number of models available to you at any time and will update based on the filters you select.

Now we are getting to the filters. This tool will allow you to refine search results, making it easy for you to find exactly what you need. Below, you can see all available filters for Face models, which include: Age, Gender, Ethnicity, Skin Tone, Weight, Height, and Features.

Every time you select one or more filters, the models displayed in the grid will be filtered to show you only those that meet the selected criteria. When filters are selected, they will appear in the top left corner, as illustrated in the image below.

Full Body Product Category

When browsing for Full Body models you will see the same filters as for the Face scans.

Full Body Poses, Couples Poses and Clothed Poses

When browsing for products in the "...Poses" categories, you will notice an additional Pose filter that allows you to find scans based on the body action performed. They will include Artistic, Crouching, Dancing, Martial Arts, Ballet, Fashion, Yoga, Expressive and many more. Please read this Full Body Scan Library Part 2 – Poses post where we explain full body poses it detail.

Hands Product Category

When browsing for hand models, you will have access to all the same filters as for face and full body models.

Please note that the Features filters will be unique for each category. Hopefully, this has given you a bit more understanding of the tools available in the store to find the right scan for your project.

Product Page

We designed our store around individual models rather than around the scans. When you browse for the right model, you will be led to the product page which will feature all the scans taken of that person.

All such product pages will feature model’s name on top, gallery in a grid pattern and other features. Here’s a preview of a typical product page, please note the yellow numbers marking certain features that we will be explaining further down.

1 Hide Preview. When you hover over any image in the gallery, quick preview 5 will appear. If you find that feature distracting you can switch it off using this button. By default, it is enabled.

2-3 Zoom In and Zoom Out. These buttons will enlarge or make smaller gallery images.

4 Expand Gallery. If you are on a product page that has a lot of scans, you will notice additional slider appear for the grid images. Press this button if you do not want to scroll down and see all preview images at the same time.

5 Quick Preview. Hovering your mouse over a gallery cell will display a slightly larger preview image. At the bottom left corner of it you will see the name of that expression or pose, in the right bottom corner the price of that scan is displayed. Note that it will depend on the selected license type.

6 High-res Images. When your cursor is over any gallery image, a magnifying icon will appear in the top right corner of it. When clicked on, you will see high resolution images of that scan in three render styles:

  • Basic render – this image is rendered out using HDRI lightning and shaders.
  • Self-Illuminated – this render will show the quality of the color details projects on the model.
  • Shaded – this render will show the mesh quality.

7 Selection. You can select all or clear selection using these buttons.

8 Selected. Here you will see how many scans you have currently selected.

9 License. These buttons switch between Personal and Commercial license options. Its is important to select the right license depending on how you are going to use the purchased scan. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Supply for more information on licensing.

10 Here you will see a total cost of all expressions or poses selected.

11 This section will display information about the model such as Age, Height, Weight etc.

12 Here you will see technical information about each individual scan for that model. This will include file format, what is included in the product and the size of the downloadable file.

13 Search. On the very top in the menu, you can see search field. This field is useful if you already know the name of the model you previously purchased or want to purchase. To find models based on other criteria please use Browse button which will lead you to general search tools.

Same Model Other Products

This section will appear if the model you are viewing has any other types of products linked to it from across other libraries in the store. For example, if you search for a face model, you might notice that that there’s also a full-body or hand scan set available for that model. If this is the case, additional section will appear on the product page displaying such associated products.
